The Headteachers Welcome

Welcome to Vale View Community Primary School and Nursery in Dover.  The pupils, parents, staff and governors are very proud of our successful school which has served the local community for almost 40 years; I feel extremely privileged to be the Headteacher of a school full of polite, friendly and hard working children supported by a dedicated, incredibly hard working team of staff, committed to giving every child in our care the best opportunities that we can offer.

We value our pupils as unique individuals; we celebrate diversity and respect children regardless of ability, gender, ethnicity or religion. We aim to sustain a happy, caring, supportive and positive learning community where each child can develop and extend their potential and achieve success in all areas of life, leaving Vale View as motivated and confident learners, who are independent, show initiative and are self-disciplined, showing respect for themselves as well as others.

We are committed to working in partnership with parents and welcome our parents and other members of the extended family to take advantage of the many informal and formal opportunities to enhance the home-school relationship.

Prospective parents are warmly invited to look round the school, visiting us during the working day so that you can meet both staff and children and see at first-hand what the school has to offer your child. Our team of office staff will be only too happy to arrange an appointment.

I look forward to meeting you!
