A typical day at Vale View Nursery

During the day children follow a regular routine, which enables them to feel secure within the nursery.

At Vale View Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.  We ensure that we plan activities and resource the environment to meet each individual child's needs based on the 3 Prime areas of learning and the 4 Specific areas of learning as set out in the Framework (Please visit our "Changes to the Early Years Foundation Stage" page for more information about the areas of learning & the Framework). Within the structure of each session children have a balance of teacher directed and child initiated time. Teacher directed activities are planned to follow on from the child’s interests and developmental stages.
