Welcome to Gold Class!

The children in Gold Class have reached their final year of primary school and, just like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, they will reap all the rewards of their hard-earned success throughout their school journey.

This year, the children will hone their independent learning skills, collaborating on group projects, such as making their own music videos, writing their own assembliess to parents, creating electric lights and hosting their own gallery and VE Day events.

The children will have several opportunities to develop important social and key life skills by participating in Forest School events, class trips, including the action-packed adventuring on the Residential to Kingswood,and by starring in the end of year class production. Year 6 children are also given the opportunity to become advocates, Sports and Maths ambassadors, school council representatives as well as a chance to be our Head Boy or Head Girl.

Our Year 6 children are resilient and determined pupils, who strive to achieve their very best as they work hard to learn new skills and consolidate previous learning. We aim to develop our pupils as kind, positive and mature young people as they become ready for their transition into secondary.
